Curves

The help for this page of the Version 2 transmitter, in its newest words. A transmitter on V2 B92 or older shows older words.

On the transmitter: Model setupChannelsa channel's button

The curve sets how far this channel's servo moves (up the graph) for each stick position (across). The channel is named at the top right, with the bank under it.

To change the curve

  • Touch the graph above or below a point: the point moves there.
  • For small steps, press 'Next point' until the ring is on the point you want, then press '-' or '+'.
  • Choose the shape: 'Straight', 'Smooth' or 'Exponential'.
  • Turn on 'Copy to all banks' to copy this curve to all four banks when you press 'OK'.
  • Press 'OK' to save.
Each bank has its own curve.
Move the bank switch to change another bank's curve.

The numbers

The numbers along the top are the points' heights, -100 to 100.
The upright line is where the stick is now.
'Stick input' and 'Servo output' show where the stick and the servo are now (-100 to 100).

The shapes

  1. Straight: four straight lines join the five points.
  2. Smooth: a smooth curve through the five points.
  3. Exponential: three points (the ends and the centre) joined by two expo curves. Only those three points can be moved, and 'Next point' skips the other two.
Set 'Expo' (-50 to +150) with the slider, or with the '-' and '+' beside it for single steps. Expo 0 gives straight lines.
The slider is hard to stop at exactly 0, so 'Zero expo' sets 0 for you (and chooses 'Exponential').
