What the app stores, and where

Everything the app keeps stays on your own phone, in the app's own storage:

• Settings snapshots you back up from your flight controller
• Flight recordings and checks you have run
• Photographs you choose for your models
• The name and Bluetooth identifier of the last receiver you connected to, so the app can find it again

Deleting the app deletes all of it. None of it is sent anywhere, and we cannot see any of it.

Who the app talks to

Your own receiver

Over Bluetooth, directly. This is how the app does its job. Nothing in that conversation reaches us or anyone else.

If you use the app's WiFi page to give your receiver your home network details, that password travels over Bluetooth to your receiver and nowhere else. The app does not keep a copy, and it never leaves your phone and your receiver.

The app checks this site for new firmware and new app versions, and downloads them when you ask it to. Those are ordinary web requests. Like any web server, the site keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, and the file requested) for security and diagnostics. Nothing identifies you personally, and the logs are not linked to anything in the app.

Nobody else

There is no third-party code in the app that reports anything: no analytics library, no crash reporter, no advertising kit, no social login.

Permissions the app asks for

• Bluetooth — to find and talk to your receiver. This is the whole point of the app.
• Camera — only if you choose to photograph a model. The picture stays on your phone.

Choosing an existing photograph uses Apple's own picker, which hands the app just the one picture you pick. The app never gets access to your photo library.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects nothing from anybody, of any age.
