The Automatic Harpsichord

A modern recreation of a mechanical harpsichord that plays itself, similar to a player piano but for harpsichord.

LockDown Radio Control

A full-featured 16-channel radio control system for model aircraft, developed during the 2020 lockdown.

This open-source system includes custom hardware, software, and 3D-printed components.

Past Innovations

During the 1980s, Malcolm wrote an MS-DOS communications software application in 8086 assembler called 'Trans-Send' which for a decade or so was bundled with most modems sold in Europe, in 14 languages.
