Channels
The help for this page of the Version 2 transmitter, as its latest update shows it. On the transmitter, Animation at the top of this help page plays a short film of the page in use.
On the transmitter: Model setupChannels
Where all 16 channels are now, live. From here you can edit the curve of any channel, in any bank.
To edit a curve
- Check the right model is loaded (its name: yellow, top left).
- Choose the bank with the bank switch (its name is top left).
- Press the channel's button: odd numbers on the left, even on the right. The arrow on each button points to its bar.
Each bar grows from the middle line:
to the left below centre, to the right above.
The numbers
Beside each bar, by its button: what that channel sends now, in microseconds. 1500 is the middle.
Rotorflight on CRSF (the receiver's usual way) sees 1000 to 2000 as 989 to 2012, and anything outside as the nearer end.
Max range
At the bottom: the range this model's channels can use, and what the curve pages show bottom to top. Touch one to choose:
it asks first.
500 to 2500: the widest, as ever.
945 to 2055: just past the 1000 to 2000 Rotorflight reads. A curve taken to the top and bottom then gives its full range even with a stick that stops a little short.
A change keeps every point's value; one beyond the new range moves to its edge. Check every channel after a change.
Every channel has a curve of its own in every bank: four banks, or six with 'Six banks' on ('Model options').
To give every bank the same curve, turn on 'Copy to all banks' on the curve page before you press 'OK'.
This is often what you want.
Rates
'Rates' (Model setup) sets three rates for up to eight channels.
Each rate is 0 to 200 per cent.
They work in every bank: three rates in each bank.
