Rotorflight settings

The help for this page of the Version 2 transmitter, in its newest words. A transmitter on V2 B92 or older shows older words.

On the transmitter: Model setupRotorflightSettings

What the transmitter itself needs to know about this model's flight controller.
Touch a white box to type a new value.
'OK' saves them with the model, and goes back to the Rotorflight options.

Rotorflight settings: link rates and banks, Rotorflight version, arming channel and main gear ratio
The page as the transmitter shows it. Tap to enlarge.

On: the bank switch sets the rates too (Bank 2 uses Rate 2).
Off: the 'Rates' switch sets the rates on its own.
The switch is saved as soon as you touch it.

Rotorflight version

The version the receiver reports from the flight controller:
2.2 or 2.3. It cannot be typed.
0.0 means no version is known yet.
Once one is known, the model keeps it, even while the flight controller is silent.
At 0.0 the safety switch does not drive the arming channel, and 'Link rates and banks' has no effect.
At 2.2 or 2.3 the transmitter's own rate percentages are not used: Rotorflight's rates are.
'Governor ...' needs 2.3.
The columns of the Rates page follow the version too.

Arming channel

The channel the safety switch drives (usually 6).
Safety off arms the flight controller.
1 to 16. Any other entry is ignored: the old channel stays.

Main gear ratio

Motor turns for one turn of the main rotor, such as 10.3.
A Version 1 receiver uses it to work out the head speed.
A Version 2 receiver does not: Rotorflight sends the head speed.
With a Version 2 receiver, set it in Rotorflight's Configurator.
